Caroline Byrne

Byrne’s creative practise explores our connection to time and place. The influence of the past, concerns of the present and a vision of how we co-habit the natural world now into the future are reflected in her work. Her thoughts are visualised through the media of artists books and original prints, and more recently involve community engagement through theatre and participatory art experience.

The consideration of creating a sustainable practice and a sustainable world is at the root of Byrne's work. This is evidenced in her projects with children, her bookbinding classes, and her studio practice.
